The Deaf Trust: Marketing Campaign
The Deaf Trust is a National Centre of Excellence for students with hearing or communication difficulties.
They run a specialist nursery, school and college and have pioneered the use of Total Communication, a unique approach to learning which encourages students to use their preferred method of communication, rather than insisting they learn one unified language.
DKPM was asked to produce a marketing campaign for the College with a brief to communicate the educational, vocational and residential offering.
We took their positioning of ‘speaking your own language’ and translated it into a vibrant, engaging prospectus, year book and exhibition graphics that expressed the “community values” of the college.
Every element of the design was considered from the learner’s point of view, including sign language and a BSL alphabet learning aid. We also employed strong imagery throughout the marketing materials to communicate the content to those students with reading difficulties.
A marketing campaign every bit as individual and distinctive as the college itself.
