Who Done It? We Done It!

When American toy giant Hasbro decided to modernise the iconic Cluedo brand, they turned to DKPM.

Working closely with Hasbro’s team in Boston and London we established a strong brand vision to fit alongside the more up to date, and involved, game play. This work included logo and visual identity, alongside key packaging concepts.

To complete our vision we art-directed the game board itself, to create a twilight Hollywood Hills mansion, with a ‘Marie Celeste’ feel – as if you had entered the house at the time...

At our suggestion, the board was created using photo-realistic 3D imagery in conjunction with our partner, Finger Industries, bringing the board bang up to date.

The project took a combination of creativity and painstaking attention to detail. The result was the transformation of a 1940’s classic board game into a family game brimming over with 21st century style.
