Joella Productions: Underground Ernie

Underground Ernie is the children’s CGI animation showing on the BBC and CBeebies channels. Starring the voice of Gary Lineker as Ernie it is one of the most successful children’s TV shows in the UK.

DKPM works closely with Ernie's creator, Joella Productions, and key partner Transport for London, to ensure clear direction and close management of the brand’s image as the license expands internationally.

We have developed a brand guidelines document, asset management extranet and created key brand assets which are being used by license holders and retailers.

We are also working with key licensees – including Warner Music Entertainment – to promote the brand to the consumer. Recent work for the Underground Ernie DVD includes packaging, press and TV advertising.
